Welcome to our school community! We are thrilled to have your child join us on this exciting journey of learning and growth.

Below is a list of key dates and information based on your child's transition to school:

New Parents/Carers Welcome Meeting

Wednesday 21st May, 6.30pm - 7:30pm

This meeting is for parents and carers only, and it is an opportunity for us to share with you the principles underpinning our Early Years practice and provision. It is also a chance for you to ask any initial questions you may have.

Please bring your child's birth certificate to this meeting for us to scan, we require a copy of this by law before your child can start with us in September.

It is desirable that ALL parents/carers attend this session.

Children and Parent/Carer Taster Sessions:

Tuesday 10th June at 9.30am -10.30am OR 1.30pm - 2.30pm

OR

Thursday 12th June at 9.30am -10.30am OR 1.30pm - 2.30pm

We want the first experience of the school environment for your child to be something they share with you, their family. Therefore, we have arranged for these parent/carer and child sessions to be the very first part of the children's Induction Programme.

This is an essential part of the induction process as it is important for both you and your child to have the chance to explore the learning environment, meet the team and share information about your child.

Children Taster Sessions WITHOUT Parents/Carers:

Thursday 3rd July at 9.30am - 11.30 or 12:30pm - 2:30pm

Children visit the classrooms along with their class mates and staff who will be working with them to experience 'coming to school' in advance of September.

This is also an essential part of the induction processes it is the start of your child's independence and building their confidence within the classroom.

Virtual discussions with class teacher

Monday 30th June / Tuesday 1st July / Wednesday 2nd July

On Friday 20th June, you will be sent an email informing you of your child's class and class teacher. Within this email, there will be a link for you to book a 10 minute meeting with your child's class teacher to discuss what makes them unique. You can book a time that suits you best.
