LQ: Can I apply the rule for words ending in '-ably' and '-ibly'? 

 

TASK –

Today’s task is to use a variety of spelling strategies to learn the following words:

Reasonably

Understandably

Reliably

Comfortably

Incredibly

Sensibly

Terribly

Horribly

 

Optional Extension –

As an optional task, you can create a poster about why we use -ably and ibly ending words. You could include -

- Examples of both

- The rules for both

- Spelling strategies

Make it as creative as possible!
