How to make Gingerbread men with Mrs Harris
As we have been learning all about the story Mrs Harris wanted to share her recipe with you. You could make some of your own gingerbread men at home and then decorate them. This week we will be using sultanas and icing to decorate biscuits in nursery, I wonder how many buttons I can fit on my gingerbread man.

A story from Mrs Collings
We had many excited pirates in nursery last week. Mrs Collings has been on a walk to find some beach treasures and tells us a lovely story about Sailor Sam and how he finds his way home.

Chinese New Year-Friday 12th February 2021
This week the children in Explorers have been looking at how children may prepare and celebrate for the Chinese new year. The BBC shows a little girl called Abbie getting ready and some fantastic dances that you can try at home. You could make your own picture of a dragon using the shapes that we have been practising too.
