  • 30.04.20 - Maths Sharing In tomorrows lesson there are sharing challenges involving an apple, a cake and a pack of sweets. Please don't feel that you need to use the real items in the lesson as I know not everyone will have these things available.

BBC - Great British Bunting

With so many events cancelled or restricted for the commemoration of the 75th anniversary of VE Day on 8th May, BBC Radiowanted to come up with a way for people across the UK to mark the occasion and express their pride in our country and to remember and honour the men and women of WW2.

 

They have sent some guidance on making some bunting that you can display in your window, so we wanted to pass this on.

 

If you do make some bunting then we would love to see some photos of it.

  • The Book of Hopes A new collection of stories to entertain children at home, dedicated to all Key Worker Heroes!
  • 29.04.20 - Maths Sharing You will need to watch the episode the share lair of the numberblocks on iplayer. You will also need some items to share.

  • 28.4.20 Dance / Yoga Another Cosmic Kids Yoga activity for you to have a go at - Walking through the Jungle.
  • 27.4.20 Literacy - Dear Zoo Listen carefully to Dear Zoo. Afterwards, see how much you have remembered: tell the story again to a grown-up.

  • 23.4.20 - Dance / Yoga Have a go at this Gingerbread Man yoga activity. Follow the Gingerbread Man and copy the yoga poses he does, then run, run, run as fast as you can at that point in the song before doing more yoga poses. Have fun!
  • 22.4.20 Literacy - Hunting for Digraphs You will need your yellow book, a pencil....and a sound mat would be helpful. If you don't have a sound mat and would like one, please email sglew@white-rock-primary.torbay.sch.uk
  • 21.04.20 - Maths 2D Shapes This is our last lesson on 2D Shapes so we are going to do some making. You can use anything like string, lolly sticks, matchsticks etc. if you have it or just strips of cut out paper to make the sides of different 2D shapes.

  • 16.04.20 - Maths You will need a pencil and paper. You might also decide to cut out some squares and rectangles to sort.
