ECO-COMMITTEE GARDENING FOR THE COMMUNITY
The Eco-committee have been looking at ways to reduce our plastic consumption at school. They came up with the idea of creating a herb garden which can be used by families instead of buying single-use plastic packaged herbs from shops. Today the eco-committee have been busy weeding, prepping and planting the new herb garden. The children have put together a maintenance rota to tend to the garden and this should be available for harvesting in the Summer term. They've planted parsley, mint, rosemary and a selection of lettuces. If you would like to use our herb garden please feel free to come and take a snip at the end of the day during the Summer term!
